Sailors aboard the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) man the rails as the ship pulls in to Naval station Norfolk following a nine-month deployment to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet area of responsibility. The homecoming marks the end of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group's (IWOARG) deployment, where its ships supported Operation Enduring Freedom, Exercises African Lion, Eger Lion and International Mine Countermeasure Exercise 2012, and conducted Maritime Security Operation (MSO) and theater security cooperation efforts in the Mediterranean and Arabian Seas.
