Bridge Crewman from the 1st Platoon, 132nd Multirole Bridge Company (MRBC), Task Force Warhammer, deconstructs the “Five-Points” medium girder bridge (MGB) in support of USMC 1-MEF (Forward) forces based at Forward Operating Base Hanson, in southern Afghanistan. During the MGB deconstruction, the platoon dug over six feet of earth with hand tools in order to free the corners of the bridge end ramps. Despite the intense physical labor, 1st Plt. accomplished the mission ahead of schedule. (Photo by U.S. Army Spc. Steven Ostrowski, 132nd MRBC).
