1ste Sergeant-Majoor (OR-7) Nieuwenhuyse, a Belgian Service Member specializing in lab analytics, tests the chlorine and pH in the basement of the Ecomare natural history museum and aquarium on Texel Island, Netherlands in order to analyze the water filtration system. Personnel from 30th Medical Brigade and U.S. Army Special Operations Command – Africa participate in a multinational field training exercise with Dutch and Belgian Preventive Medicine units. The exercise, which focuses on the preventive medicine response following a disaster scenario, builds interoperability between nations while allowing multinational preventive medicine specialties to train on individual tasks.
