A U.K. HMS Prince of Wales (R09) aircraft handler launches an F-35B Lightning II fighter aircraft Oct. 16, 2023. The short takeoff vertical landing variant is one or two jets aboard Britain's newest aircraft carrier for flight trials that will expand the operational capability of naval aviation.
