U.S. Air Force staff members of the 86th Mission Support Group’s Deployment Transition Center (DTC) and redeployers from the 406th Air Expeditionary Wing celebrate the 25,000th program participant since 2010 at the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Oct. 22, 2023. The Air Force DTC was established in July 2010 to provide critical reintegration skills and decompression opportunities for redeployers, specifically working to mitigate resiliency impacts due to family separations and life challenges associated with deployments and demands associated with combat operations. The four-day program provides group discussions led by mission set managers and resiliency technicians as well as other reintegration techniques to aid redeployers as they transition from their deployed environments down range back into their lives back at their home stations.
