Col. Paul Gapinski, outgoing commander of the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 426th Regiment, presents Julia Benish with a plaque signifying his induction into the 426th Regional Training Institute (RTI) Hall of Fame during an induction ceremony Oct. 14 at Fort McCoy, Wis. Known as “Ms. WMA,” Benish has served in a variety of roles at the RTI, and still works there today.
