A conference room at the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command headquarters in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, was dedicated to Canadian Army Capt. Michael Aucoin in a ceremony April 4, 2023. Aucoin passed away while on duty as a security assistance liaison officer (SALO) with USASAC in 2011. Retired United Kingdom Royal Air Force warrant officer Tony Harrop served as a SALO with Aucoin and returned to New Cumberland to see the space honoring his friend in August 2023.
