Honor Guard Soldiers with the Kentucky National Guard fold a flag that was presented to the great niece of U.S. Army Sgt. John F. Rowalt, of Bellville, Ohio Nov.4, 2023. Rowalt had served during the Indian Wars before contracting small-pox and dying around the age of 28 in Cincinnati and buried at the nearby Kentucky cemetery.
