U.S. Soldiers from the 2nd Cavalry Regiment unload sandbags from the Light Medium Tactical Vehicle (LMTV) between waves of E3B candidates that have to hoist 16 bags each onto the LMTV’s trailer during the Expert Infantryman Badge (EIB), Expert Soldier Badge (ESB) and Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB), E3B held at Vilseck Germany Nov. 6, 2023. E3B is EIB, ESB and EFMB combined, to test candidates' physical and mental abilities while executing critical individual tasks and training for these badges improves the armed services ability to respond more effectively and efficiently which increases readiness.
