YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct.10,2023)- U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Miranda Huffaker, a Master-at-Arms with Commanding Officer at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Security is awarded the 2023 United Service Organizations (USO) Yokosuka Service Salute Award as the United States Navy honoree. This awardee was selected for achieve exemplifying the eight core values of the USO: mission first, do the right thing, innovation, respect, excellence, collaboration, gratitude, and accountability. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
