JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 6, 2023) – Jeff Virbickis, an artisan with the Components Mini-Shop at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), removes a panel from a F/A-18 Super Hornet SUU-79 pylon. FRCSE artisans regularly repair and overhaul aircraft pylons to remove old wiring, treat for corrosion and repair structural defects, then return them to the fleet to help enable Navy and Marine Corps pilots to perform their warfighting missions.
