John Batchelor Jr., a Fort Worth, Texas native and maintenance management analyst with II Marine Expeditionary Force poses for a photo at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Nov. 28, 2023. After 13 years of working for II MEF, Batchelor received the civilian of the quarter award for his hard work and dedication to the Marine Corps.
Having joined the Marine Corps in 1989, Batchelor served 21 years of service before transitioning into his civilian career. Working as a maintenance management analyst, he prepares the monthly material readiness update for the general expanding across more than 60 battalions.
“The sheer recognition is awesome,” said Batchelor. “And I’m the second to receive the award.”
