David Bellon, commander of Marine Forces South, discusses the advantages of the Marine Littoral Regiment as a highly mobile, multi-domain, survivable and lethal force at the 4th Brazilian Marine Corps Amphibious Symposium in Rio de Janeiro, Nov. 27, 2023. As the keynote speaker for this event, Bellon spoke about the Marine Corps’ rapid modernization to face evolving threats worldwide through Force Design. The Brazilian Marine Corps hosts this amphibious symposium every eight years as a forum to exchange ideas and foster camaraderie among marine corps and naval infantry around the world.
