U.S. Marines with Alpha Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, exit from a CH-53E Super Stallion during a helicopter raid exercise at Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 7, 2023. The exercise simulated taking control of an enemy airfield and supporting further denial operations.
