Navy and Marine Corps leaders from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, France, Italy, the People’s Republic of China, Portugal, the Republic of Korea, Spain, and the United States attended the symposium to exchange information, build shared understanding, and collaboratively identify solutions to shared challenges. U.S. Marines welcome the opportunity to participate in military discussion forums with our regional allies and partners, even when these invaluable forums include representatives from our nation’s primary security threat—the People’s Republic of China, under the authoritarian rule of the Chinese Communist Party.
