A member of the United Arab Emirates navy steps onto the flight deck of the guided-missile destroyer USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) for a ship tour prior to Iron Siren 13 events. Iron Siren 13 is a bi-lateral surface exercise between the U.S. and United Arab Emirates navies encouraging interoperability and strengthening of naval relationships. Winston S. Churchill is part of the John C. Stennis Strike Group deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions for Operation Enduring Freedom.
