Adolfo Uribe, outpatient pulmonary services noncommissioned officer in charge for William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas conducts a pulmonary functions test on Jen'et Celestine Dec. 11 at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, Fort Johnson, Louisiana. Pulmonary function tests (PFTs) are noninvasive tests that show how well the lungs are working. The tests measure lung volume, capacity, rates of flow, and gas exchange.
