231213-N-PQ495-1044 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Dec. 13, 2023) Aviation Machinist’s Mate 1st Class Eduardo Rincon, native of Los Angeles, California, retracts a refueling hose for an F/A-18E Super Hornet, assigned to the “Stingers” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 113, by spinning a ram air turbine in the hangar bay of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). Vinson, flagship of Carrier Strike Group ONE, is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
