Martin Liyungu, Zambia Army discuss the details of a military demonstration during the African Land Forces Summit (ALFS) 2024 main planning event in Livingstone, Zambia, January 25, 2024. Sponsored by the U.S. Army Chief of Staff and co-hosted by SETAF-AF and the Zambia Army, ALFS 2024 will be held in Livingstone April 22-26. The event will bring together senior leaders from across Africa, the U.S. and other partner nations to solidify relationships, exchange information on current topics of mutual interest and to encourage cooperation in addressing challenges. This year’s theme is “Regional solutions to transnational problems.” Participants will hear from renowned academic thought leaders and non-governmental organization experts in five plenary sessions on a variety of topics.
