A candidate maneuvers an obstacle during Special Forces Conditioning and Preparation (SFCP) at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, Fla., Jan. 26, 2024. Florida Army National Guardsmen from 3rd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group hosted the four-day event which focused on mentoring candidates and honing skills necessary to succeed in their selection process. Some of the many training events included land navigation, weighted tactical movements of unknown distances and an obstacle course. SFCP is designed to grant candidates additional training following Special Forces Readiness Evaluation (SFRE) by fostering an environment of mentorship for those willing to embark on the rigorous special forces' selection process.
