Hammock, Sergeant Major of MCICOM, and Mr. Ed Cutshall, Director of MCICOM Housing, brief the Marine Corps' Barracks 2030 quality-of-life initiative to congressional staff members on Capitol Hill on Jan 29, 2024.
Barracks 2030 will improve Marines' quality of life through consolidation into the service's best barracks facilities, demolition of aging infrastructure, hiring professional civilian managers and resident advisors, contracting on-call maintenance teams, conducting in-stride renovations, and improving furniture maintenance cycles.
