Cunningham presented Everett with an ROTC Scholarship for 80k dollars to attend the college of his choice in the UC or CSU families of higher learning institutes on February 10, 2024, at the Los Angeles’ Black College Expo held downtown at the Convention Center. As a Los Angeles Strategic Officer Recruiting Detachment (LA SORD) guest, Cunningham attended the expo.
