Brig. Gen. Roger Giraud, commander of Medical Readiness Command, Europe and command surgeon for U.S. Army Europe and Africa, along with Command Sgt. Maj. Jesus Gonzalez, travelled to Turkey Feb. 26-29 where they met with Brig. Gen. Hakan Bora Budak, General Director of Turkish Military Health Services and members of his staff. During their visit, Giraud and Gonzalez toured Turkish, NATO and U.S. military medical facilities and reaffirmed the Turkish and U.S. military medical partnership and solidified Allied Land Command relationships.
