On Mar. 26, 2024, retired Rear Adm. Robert J. Bianchi, Chief Executive Officer of the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM), along with Cmdr. Terri Gabriel, Deputy Commander Uniform Programs at NEXCOM and Mary Neal, Operations Policy Specialist at NEXCOM present a check for $1.1 million to retired Lt. Gen. Robert R. Ruark, U. S. Marine Corps, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. During 2023, NEX patrons purchased nearly 200,000 $5 benefit tickets in support of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
