At the Portsmouth Middle School STEAM EXPO, which took place March 26, 2024, Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command (NMCFHPC) STEM Team volunteers helped extend STEAM disciplines: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, beyond the classroom, engaging students with interactive demonstrations. Epidemiologist Nicholas Seliga demonstrated hand boilers, engaging students with principles of temperature and pressure as they witnessed the liquid respond to their touch.
