MONTEREY, Calif. (April 2, 2024) Rear Adm. Ted LeClair, Deputy Commander of Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (SURFPAC), speaks with Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) student Lt. Zachary Vrtis about his Ph.D. research in additive manufacturing at the dedication of the NPS Advanced Manufacturing Center. The new laboratory, operated by NPS’ Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research and Education (CAMRE), will help NPS students and faculty pursue advanced research in 3D printing and related technologies for defense applications.
