For the cause, even with paws… in conjunction with April officially designated as Sexual Assault Awareness Prevention Month by DoD, NHB/NMRTC Bremerton staff took part in the SAAPM 5K to show active support for the monthly recognition organized by the command’s Health Promotion and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response team. The Navy Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program mission is to prevent and respond to sexual assault, eliminating it through a balanced of focused education, comprehensive response, compassionate advocacy, and just adjudication to promote professionalism, respect, and trust, while preserving Navy mission readiness (official photos by Douglas H Stutz, NHB/NMRTC Bremerton public affairs officer).
