OXON HILL, Md. (April 7, 2024) - U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) volunteer Oscar Wiygul (left) talks to a young student about how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math activities are connected to the real-world missions of commands like SSP during the Sea-Air-Space STEM expo at the Gaylord National Hotel and Conference Center, Sunday. Conference goers had the opportunity to participate in hands-on science activities and experience interactive exhibits based on STEM concepts with more than 20 exhibitors from various Department of Defense service branches. SSP is the Navy command that is responsible for the cradle-to-grave lifecycle of the submarine-launched ballistic missile system. (U.S. Navy Photo by Lt. Jennifer Bowman/Released)
