Brig. Gen. Sean Crockett, Eighth Army deputy commanding general, operations, gives remarks during a memorial ceremony at Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park in Paju near the Demilitarized Zone, April 10, 2024. The ceremony honored Col. William Weber who died at the age of 97, April 9, 2022. He was a Korean War veteran who was gravely wounded, losing part of an arm and a leg during the war. After rehabilitation, he remained in the U.S. Army for another 20 years and was instrumental in the design and construction of the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C.
