U.S. Airmen celebrate after French pilots landed on fiber-reinforced polymer matting during airfield damage repair Exercise RAZORBACK, in Grostenquin, France, Apr 1, 2024. The exercise was a U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa and French forces Bilateral Airfield Damage Repair Event, where they completed crater repair with crushed stone backfill and installation of an FRP mat over the repair zone.
