Military aircraft from several eras were on display at The Great Texas Airshow April 07, 2024, at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. Static displays give the community the opportunity to see inside some of the Air Force’s most impactful assets and talk to the service members who use and maintain them. The North American Aviation AT-6G family of Advanced Trainers first entered service in 1938, and variants continued in service until recent times. The T-6 Texan II, currently used at JBSA-Randolph as a trainer plane, is a legacy of the AT-6G. (U.S. Air Force photo by Brian G. Rhodes)
