A lancha begins to sink after the crew were transferred to a 45-foot Response Boat–Medium crew from Coast Guard Station South Padre Island April 16, 2024. The Coast Guard crew interdicted the lancha, seized 440 pounds of illegally caught red snapper and shark and transferred the men to U.S. Customs and Border Protection for further processing.
