    U.S. Army North Military Funeral Honors Platoon-Caisson Section ride their horses during the Battle of Flowers parade in San Antonio, Texas, Apr. 26, 2024. The Battle of Flowers Parade honors the heroes of the Alamo, Goliad and the Battle of San Jacinto. It is the founding event of Fiesta San Antonio and it is the only parade in San Antonio with helium balloons. It is the only parade in the U.S. produced entirely by women, all of whom are volunteers.
