U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Robert Torresnavarrete, left, is awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal by Lt. Gen. Roger Turner at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, April 18, 2024. The commanding general and sergeant major of III Marine Expeditionary Force visited the Marines of 12th Marne Littoral Regiment to discuss future training opportunities and capabilities of the MLR throughout the first island chain. During the visit, Turner recognized Marines for outstanding performance of their duties.
