Marine Corps University held its very first graduation for the new military occupational specialty, 0961 Faculty Advisor and Exceptional Military Occupation Specialty on April 24, 2024. The narrator for the ceremony was James Cohn, Dean of Academics for College of Enlisted Military Education & Marine Corps Senior Enlisted Academy. The new mos, 0961 Faculty Advisor and Exceptional Military Occupation Specialty, gives leaders the ability to identify those highly trained marines and send them to organization to be facilitators as well as seek out marines with similar qualities for the program.
