U.S. Air Force Col. Ryan Garlow, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, provides a historical feel to an official photo as he wears an authentic U.S. Army Air Force European Theatre of Operations (ETO) jacket, manufactured in the UK for US personnel, at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, March 8, 2024. The jacket was originally worn and owned by Capt. Philip Parsons, 735th Bomb Squadron pilot, 453rd Bomb Group, Old Buckenham, Norfolk, England. Parsons later became a lead pilot within the group and earned the Distinguished Flying Cross, and Air Medal with five oak leaf clusters.
