U.S, Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Tiffany Griego, 100th Air Refueling Wing command chief, wears an authentic World War II U.S. Army Air Force uniform with brass insignias, Army Air Force patch and duty identifier tab at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, March 8, 2024. The original owner from World War II of the female uniform, known as “pinks and greens” is unknown, but was a photographic intelligence officer, whose role was to assess both reconnaissance photographs of enemy installations for future missions, and post-mission bomb damage. Griego was loaned the original uniform by James Clarey, curator of the Second Air Division Heritage Gallery. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere)
