Darin Via provides remarks during the 2024 Heroes of Military Medicine ceremony at the Washington National Cathedral to recognize Navy honoree, Cmdr. Timothy J. Donahue. Donahue, a Philadelphia native who serves as the trauma medical director at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, helped to spearhead the initiative to upgrade the military treatment facility to a Level II Trauma Center, the highest designation in the Navy.
