Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) James Honea toured Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility May 2, 2024, and met with Shipyard, USS Illinois (SSN 786), USS Minnesota (SSN 783) and USS Illinois (SSN 786) Sailors to talk about quality-of-life issues important to them, including housing, relationships and leadership development. PHNSY is the largest, most comprehensive Fleet repair and maintenance facility between the U.S. West Coast and the Far East and provides a capable, ready and "Fit to Fight" Fleet.
