Meet The British Army Warrant Officer Class 2 Stefan Beckford, squadron sergeant major of the 4 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps.
The British Army soldier who expresses, "it's such a rarity in his role" hopes to gain experience during his first Wet Gap Crossing and carry that knowledge into future exercises with his multinational Allies. As a squadron sergeant major, Beckford's goal is for his soldiers, from privates to troop commanders, to take this opportunity to gain a varied level of experience and take it back to the U.K. and put it into practice.
Beckford states, "You get to see how the different nations operate. Obviously, some are good, and some may cause friction, but it's great to have a platform like this where everyone can operate together. When giving each other lessons, you get to see the strengths and tactics, and you even develop from chatting about everyone's different experiences."
