U.S. Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 214, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, debrief following training to load and off-load Captive Air Training Missile-120Cs on the F-35B Lightning II at Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal, Northern Territory, Australia, May 14, 2024. The CATM-120 is an inert training missile used to simulate the weight, center of gravity, and appearance of the AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile. VMFA-214 deployed more than 200 Marines and eight F-35B Lightning II aircraft from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, to RAAF Base Tindall, Australia, to conduct bilateral training with the RAAF No. 3 Squadron and No. 75 Squadron.
