A Legacy of Service and Smile…Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Mary E. Neff was presented the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for meritorious service while serving as command career counselor at NMRTC Bremerton, from January 2021 to June 2024. Neff led 46 personnel in career enhancing opportunities for 533 Sailors, sustaining 93 percent compliance during the 2022 and 2023 command information program reviews. As leading petty officer for the Bangor Dental Clinic, she guided 22 staff in the exceptional care of 16,033 patients, contributing to the 94 percent operational readiness of 77 commands. Neff’s superior performance of duties culminated her 20 years of honorable and dedicated service. By her noteworthy accomplishments, perseverance and dedication to duty, she reflected credit upon herself and upheld the highest traditions of the United States Navy.
