Maj. Gen. Christopher Beck, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood commanding general, swears in Lt. Col. Crystal Batey as the MSCoE and Fort Leonard Wood Command Inspector General during a May 28 ceremony in the MSCoE headquarters building. Batey, who most recently commanded the 35th Engineer Battalion, replaces Lt. Col. Kathryn Shaw, who served in the position for nearly two years and now departs for her next assignment as the 525th Military Police Detention Battalion commander at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
