An oil painting by George F. McWilliams restored by the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum hangs in the museum’s Test & Evaluation Hall. The mural once hung in the Naval Air Station Patuxent River's Officers' Club and was rescued prior to the building’s demolition. The painting represents the role of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School in national space history. The school has produced nearly 100 NASA astronauts to date. (U.S. Navy photo by Vicky Falcon)
