Maj. Gen. Rodney Boyd, the Adjutant General of the Illinois National Guard, and Command Sgt. Maj. Phillip Barber, State Command Sergeant Major for the Illinois Army National Guard visited Marseilles Training Center in Marseilles, Illinois, June 7.
During the visit the command team visited the Bravo Company 766th Brigade Engineer Battalion, the 404th MEB (Maneuver Enhancement Brigade), 433rd Signal Company, the 34th Division Sustainment Brigade, 232 Command Support Sustainment Battalion, 1844th Transportation Company, 733 Field Feeding Platoon, 129th Regional Training Institute Officer Candidate School.
Maj. Gen. Boyd and Command Sgt. Maj. Barber handed out coins to Soldiers in each unit that were selected by their peers and leadership for outstanding performance.
