CTU 75.5.7 (Underwater Construction Team TWO) and CLB-13 personnel conduct an offload of a C17 aircraft in support of diving and underwater construction operations at the Malakal Port, Palau during Exercise Valiant Shield 2024. The underwater construction effort will enhance the primary commercial port in Palau to enable the continuous flow of goods to the Island Nation. Exercises such as Valiant Shield allow the Indo-Pacific Command Joint Forces the opportunity to integrate forces from all branches of service and with our allies to conduct precise, lethal, and overwhelming multi-axis, multi-domain effects that demonstrate the strength and versatility of the Joint Force and our commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
