New York, NY – Staff Sgt. Flyod, an explosive ordnance disposal sergeant with the 55th Ordnance Company (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), demonstrates the capabilities of a Man Transportable Robotic System Inc II (MTRS Inc II) in the middle of Times Square during a 249th U.S. Army Birthday event here on June 14, 2024. The event allowed attendees to not only celebrate the Army’s birthday but also interact with Soldiers and gain insight into different military occupational specialties within the Army.
