A U.S. Air Force Special Tactics Airman assigned to the 146th Air Support Operations Squadron, Oklahoma Air National Guard, and GRUFE (Special Forces Group of the Peruvian Air Force) Defense and Special Operations members sit in the back of a West Virginia Army National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 150th Aviation Regiment, during a joint culminating exercise training event in support of Resolute Sentinel 2024, at Base Vitor, Peru, June 12, 2024. Throughout RS24 the U.S. Special Forces have been teaching the Peruvian and Columbian Special Forces members advanced close air support tactics and procedures, practicing tactical combat casualty care, and improving their collective abilities in preparation for this culminating exercise.
