A personnel recovery force made up of U.S. Marines and a Peruvian marksman approach two U.S. Air Force Airmen as part of a training scenario for Resolute Sentinel 2024 in Salinas, Peru, June 12, 2024. Due to the complexities of coordinating a personnel recovery effort, this exercise facilitated process improvement, interoperability, and fostered communications capabilities between U.S. and Peruvian leadership. This combined, joint force exercise focuses on building strong partnerships with partner-nation militaries so the nations are always ready to work together, whatever challenges they may face.
