U.S. Army Soldiers with the 996 Medical Company Area Support (MCAS), assist a training casualty, wearing a surgical prosthetic suit, onto his feet after they received surgical training where they maneuvered through a surgical prosthetic suit during Global Medic Exercise, June 11, 2024, at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA.
The prosthetic suit can be cut open, revealing organs from the human body that mimic a real surgical experience. Global Medic is a massive multi-national, multi-service, joint training exercise where the 996 MCAS was evaluated on providing medical care, receiving 25-30 patients that they have to assess and then transfer to a hospital for further care.
